GOLD for NEUS white 2020
While the vintage has not yet been bottled, we obtain GOLD for NEUS white 2020 at the 2021 GILBERT & GAILLARD International Challenge (2021 results not yet displayed). It is a new consecration for this fine and elegant organic wine. It is the result of our work on excellence, respect and commitment both to the vine and to the culture.
Tasting comments from the jury:
“Bright light yellow color. Expressive nose associating yellow stone fruits, meadow flowers, tangy note. Attractive, tonic palate, quite fleshy and rich, whose aromatic strength is appreciated from which emerge citrus notes. Good persistence, successful wine. “

An additional GOLD medal
This is the 2nd consecutive GOLD medal for NEUS blanc, 2019 vintage having already obtained the same distinction at the International Challenge GILBERT & GAILLARD 2020. These GOLD medals are added to the SILVER ones obtained from other vintages. With them, there are 11 GOLD medals obtained in total by the CHAPELLE de NOVILIS wines, 8 SILVER medals and we recall the many articles or citations in Guide Hachette, in Terre de vins and La Revue du Vin de France magazines.
But how do you get a medal when the wine is not yet bottled?
We presented a sample of what is called “brut de cuve” to this jury of knowledgeable professionals. We took this sample directly by hand from our white NEUS tank. Bottling would have offered an even more aromatically precise sample. That is to say !
