GOLD for NEUS red 2017
This new vintage barely available, we get the GOLD for NEUS red 2017 at the International Challenge GILBERT & GAILLARD 2021 (2021 results not yet published). It is a new consecration for this fine and elegant organic wine. It is the result of our work on excellence, respect and commitment both to the vine and to the culture.
Tasting comments from the jury:
“Garnet red color, slightly tiled reflections. Nose of red and black fruits, notes of undergrowth and white pepper. Yummy and fruity attack on the palate, well-controlled tannins. Beautiful mineral freshness on the finish. To drink with grilled beef.”
This vintage is more concentrated and intense than 2016 and very well fit with all types of red meats from the moment they are grilled. But always banish sauces, and avoid white meats which would vanish under the intensity of this vintage.
An additional GOLD medal
This is the second GOLD medal for NEUS rouge. They are added to the SILVER medals obtained in previous vintages. Thanks to it, we have accumulated 11 GOLD medals obtained by CHAPELLE de NOVILIS wines, 8 SILVER medals and we recall the many articles or citations of CHAPELLE de NOVILIS wines in the Guide Hachette, inTerre de vins and La Revue des Vins de France magazines.
